NEW TITLE TRANSACTIONS

 ALL New Motor Vehicle Titleswill not be processed after 4:00 pm

·        If you have purchased a vehicle from a dealership in Alabama you can go online to EASYTAGAL.COM, process your paperwork and your tag will be mailed to you.

If you have purchased a used vehicle from an individual, you will need:

·        The title (unless over 35 yrs old)

·     Bill of Sale signed by the Seller

·        Proof of Alabama insurance

·        Driver License for each registrant that is or will be listed on the title.

If you have purchased a used vehicle from a dealer in Alabama, you will need:

·        An Alabama title application

·        Bill of Sale

·        Proof of Alabama insurance

·        Driver License for each registrant that is listed on the title application

If you have purchased a new vehicle from a dealer in Alabama, you will need:

·        An Alabama title application

·        Bill of Sale

·        Proof of Alabama Insurance

·        Driver License for each registrant that is listed on the title application.

If you have purchased a new or used vehicle out of state, you will need:

·        The out of state title or manufactured certificate of origin

·        Bill of Sale

·        Proof of Alabama Insurance

·        Driver License, bring the vehicle or a picture of the VIN (vehicle identification number).

·        Each registrant that is listed or that will be listed on the title

If you are purchasing a vehicle from an individual and it will be financed with a bank in Alabama that bank will need to do your title application, you will need:

·        An Alabama title application

·        Bill of Sale

·        Proof of Alabama insurance

·        Driver License for each registrant that is listed on the title application
